ZOLL continues to recommend Duracell Coppertop CR123-style batteries (DL123ABKM) batteries for use with the AED Plus®. However, it is important to note that Duracell now manufactures Coppertop batteries in the US and China. While the batteries may look similar, they do perform differently. To ensure optimum power longevity with the AEDPlus, customers should use only batteries manufactured in the US. Batteries produced in the US include ‘Made in USA’ on the battery cell label. Batteries produced in China are labeled “Made in China”.
